CHURCH PLANTING MOVEMENT MODEL
National Evangelical Bible Churches (NEBC) exist so that “in all things Christ may have the preeminence.” (Colossians 1:18) They are called National Evangelical Bible Churches because they are to be:
National
NEBC exist so that every “tribe, tongue, people, and nation” (Revelation 7:9) may hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Those who accept this good news of Christ will then form a national church who will: pray for its leaders and all of its inhabitants (I Timothy 2); prophetically speak to the nation on behalf of God (Isaiah 8:11-16); and lead that nation into the blessings of God if, and as, and when it turns to Christ (Psalm 33:12).
Evangelical
NEBC churches seek to be a true expression on earth of the true church in heaven (Hebrews 11:18-29). They want to fill the gap of being what great evangelical churches and denominations used to be in the past, before so many were infected and affected by apostasy, unbelief, pluralism, legalism, heresies, blasphemies, modernism, liberalism, atheism, secularism, and the like. That is, they seek to be faithful to the living Word of God, both written, the Scriptures (Hebrews 4:12), and living, the LORD Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14).
Therefore, with all of the great evangelical creeds of church history, NEBCs basically agree. In this context, NEBCs believe and affirm the evangelical truths found therein, as they were originally written, understood, and accepted hundreds, and even thousands of years ago. With only minor revision, omission, or correction, we harmonize whatever small discrepancies they might have had between themselves through our NEBCs' Statement of Faith. We therefore continue to embrace and propagate these ancient creeds today. This is for all the world to see the eternal truths of the Word of God, as upheld over the ages by “the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” (I Timothy 3:15)
Thus, one wonderful consequence of such commitment in our present day and age is that National Evangelical Bible Churches believe that all men and nations can be saved and experience the blessings of God in Christ, not only for eternity, but even now in their own generations to whatever extent they trust and obey the LORD on the individual, family, city, state, and national levels.
Jesus said:
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:17-19)
NEBCs believe that true faith produces obedience to God's righteous laws, which then brings true blessing from God on the spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, and social levels - yea, on every aspect - of life (cf. Romans 10:6-13 with Deuteronomy 30:11-20). Therefore, they have Good News in Christ to share with all peoples!
Bible
One of the most controversial topics in the Church today is how one interprets the Bible. NEB Churches exist to interpret “the Bible as it is, for men as they are.” Because taking the Bible at face value, and rejecting all attempts to “fog” clear teaching from Scripture is so important to one’s growth as a Christ-follower, NEB Churches interpret the Bible literally, grammatically, and historically, seeking always to faithfully proclaim the “original intent” of the Divine Author, as He gave His inspired word through His chosen human instruments.
Churches
NEB Churches are to be contemporary "incarnations" of the body of Christ (John 1:1,14; I Corinthians 11-14) exhibiting renewal and revival, so that all men and nations may see an example of what the true, obedient church looks like, believes, and practices. As a result of their desired obedience, they long to see continual "glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world with end. Amen." (see Ephesians 3:20,21)
NEB Churches derive their authority, not from any ecclesiastical connection, lineage or human church or organization, but from heaven itself, being a part of the only one, true, eternal church, which is in heaven. The LORD of the true church in heaven is from where also every other true and faithful church on earth derives her present-day authority:
For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: "And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow." And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.") but you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven." Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:18-29 NKJV)
Invitation
We ask you to join with us of the National Evangelical Bible Churches, and follow Christ! We want to be continually asking God to corporately, as well as individually and as families, make us a people whom He can bless in every way (Psalm 81:8-16; 144:11-15). In being this, we will truly exhibit His Glory to the nations, and make an impact in reaching our world in our generations for Christ (John 15:8; Proverbs 11:30; Galatians 5:22,23)!
